November 18th, 2020 – Cheongju university and CoAsia SEMI signed a business agreement at the conference room on the 2nd floor of the university’s main building on the 18th to link employment through the convergence education of intelligent semiconductor software.
The business agreement was arranged to establish a cooperative relationship to foster SW convergence professionals. Cheongju University President Cha Cheonsoo, CoAsia SEMI CEO Kim Kyungho, and Kim Hee-seok, general manager of SW convergence cluster business group, attended the event.
Under the agreement, Cheongju University and CoAsia SEMI will cooperate in the following matters: △ exchange of knowledge and information △ support and education for human resources △ consultation on semiconductors △ development of industrial-academic joint curricula and programs △ operation of field training and internships △ interconnection of employment and start-up support △ discovery of government projects, etc.
President Cha Cheon-soo said, "Talented people will be able to get good jobs through the software convergence next-generation intelligent semiconductor cluster which is the future growth engine of the core industry in the region” adding, “We hope that this agreement will lead to the joint development of Cheongju University and CoAsia SEMI”
